Meet Brad Smith, the owner and founder of BRADCO Painting. Brad grew up helping his father flip homes, assisting in everything from demo and cleaning to carpentry and painting. Painting was something he developed a passion for. After a couple of projects of his own, Brad spent his college years building a business with his brother, dropping flyers in mailboxes around Toledo, Ohio. The two got so much work, they had to hire a bunch of their wrestling teammates. After a few years of this, a company out of Detroit hired Brad to paint over 300 Kmart stores and factories. He perfected his skill over the years and eventually took it to another level by starting BRADCO Painting.

Today, Brad is a licensed contractor and is constantly learning new techniques and certifications to further his skill set. Brad lives in Royal Oak, Michigan with his wife, Pam, and their two dogs, Bear and Moses. He is a father to three and loves spending time up north at his family cabin, swinging clubs on the golf course, and coaching wrestling for North Farmington High School.

OPEN POSITIONS

Experienced Painter

Do you have experience painting? Do you work well in a fast-paced environment? In this position, you will be working in a team-oriented setting, prepping and painting a variety of environments. At BRADCO, we often use an Airless Industrial Spray Gun. Experience with one is a requirement for this position. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of painting experience

  • Experience with an airless spray gun

  • Ability to lift 50lbs+ and work at heights of 20ft+

  • Excellent attendance and work ethic

  • Fluency in English and a High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must have your own transportation and a valid drivers license

  • Must be willing to travel out of state for jobs when needed

Painter's Assistant

Are you a hard worker with an eye for quality work? Do you work well in a fast-paced environment? In this position you will be working in a team-oriented setting, assisting in prepping and painting a variety of environments. Experience with prep work such as sanding, patching, priming and masking is preferred but not required.

Qualification

  • Ability to lift 50lbs+ and work at heights of 20ft+

  • Excellent attendance and work ethic

  • Fluency in English and a High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must have your own transportation and a valid drivers license

  • Must be willing to travel out of state for jobs when needed
